2 CABINET DESCRIPTION
The cabinet, which this manual is referring to, is a refrigerated cabinet for the storage of packaged and non-
packaged products, in four dimensions (600, 700,1200 and 1400 litres) and two temperatures (TN -2°C and BT
–18°C).
Its structure consists of stainless steel and zinc plated sheet.
Isolation is made of expanded polyurethanic resins with 38-42 kg/m³.
This cabinet is delivered with integral condensing unit, on the top of it.
Power is supplied through a factory mounted cable.
3 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
3-1 UNPACKING
Once the cabinet has been placed, take the packing
off, included the bars fixed to the legs.
3-2 PLACING
This cabinet must be placed in an indoor area,
avoiding the direct exposition to sun rays or other
rays, like high intensity incandescence lighting,
ovens, or heating thermosiphons.
A sufficient air exchange must be insured, even
during closing times.
3-3 CABINET PLACING
For a correct working of the cabinet, do not obstruct
the condensing unit ventilation grids, by leaving at
least 5 cm between the wall and the cabinet. Place
the cabinet perfectly horizontal by adjusting, if
necessary, its feet and then checking by means of a
water level (fig.1). Such a procedure is necessary to
ensure a correct working of the defrost water drain
and to avoid noisy vibrations of the compressor.
Check the correct position of the evaporating basin
and of its drain.

4 ELECTRIC CONNECTION AND START-UP
4-1 ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Connect the refrigerated cabinet to a magneto-thermic switch,
never connect it to the main line.
Voltage and frequency must match with the ones indicated on the cabinet label, which is placed on the back of
the cabinet.
The voltage at the socket must be 10% the rated voltage at the moment of the compressor start.
NOTE: it is compulsory to earth the cabinet. We advise to upstream install a unipolar (or quadripole) sectioning
switch, with contacts opening of at least 3 mm. This switch MUST be installed when the load is above W 1000
or when the cabinet is installed directly, without using a plug.
To avoid disconnecting the whole system in case of fault, we advise to use as sectioning switch a magneto-
thermic switch with high sensitivity differential.
4-2 START UP
Connect the cabinet to the line (see 4-1), and proceed by closing the switch also mentioned in 4-1.
NOTE: to adjust the working parameters, check the control panel instructions enclosed with this manual. Do not
set lower temperatures than the ones standard for the cabinet you purchased, This would not improve its
performance, but cause damages to the evaporator.
Before loading goods in the cabinet, please make sure that the set temperature is reached.
