Wiring Instructions:
The back of the INTELL Siren power supply is physically labeled, as shown in the diagram. The INTELL Siren functions
as an all-in-one control panel. The labels shown on the back of the power supply (A- H) allow for control of vehicle
lighting or equipment from the INTELL Siren control head. The port labeled I is to be used as an additional + momentary
button.
The siren tones are labeled on the wiring diagram and are the following, Wail, Yelp, Phaser, Horn, Volume Control and
Mechanical. These siren tones are already programmed onto the switches shown on the diagram. The volume control
button on the panel has three options for controlling the volume of the PA. Press on the left side of the button to decrease
the volume and press on the right side of the button to increase the volume.
To control or change the flash patterns of a product, connect the flash pattern wire from the product into the flash mode
outlet on the back of the power supply. The outlet is labeled “Flash” on the back of the power supply. Multiple flash
pattern wires from different products can be wired into this outlet. The button labeled “Flash mode” on the illustration to
the right indicates the corresponding button for this outlet.
Each outlet is rated at 10 amps, so multiple lights can be wired into an outlet, depending on the amperage of the products.
After wiring in products and equipment into the A- H labeled outlets of the amplifier and into the flash mode outlets
as desired, connect the outlet labeled “Controller” on the back of the power supply to the RJ45 port of the INTELL Siren
control head with the provided RJ45 cable.
Connect the Microphone cable included to the Microphone Input (labeled) on the back of the power supply.
Make sure to label the buttons on the control head with the provided label stickers, according to how the button was
wired. Remember the siren tones are already pre-wired and cannot be changed. These tones are Wail, Yelp, Phaser,
Horn, Volume Control and Mechanical.
Applying Memory Function:
Memory functions can be programmed in the control head after the completion of wiring and mounting of the unit.
The
Intell Siren control panel features three programmable memory functions. The memory buttons can control as many
options as desired.
1.) To program functions on a memory button, make sure the control head is activated and the power switch is on.
2.) Select the modes and buttons desired to be programmed for a specific memory button. Do so, by pressing each button
once. If a button is selected by accident, press that button again to turn it off.
3.) After selecting all the desired options/buttons, press and hold the memory button of choice for 3 seconds, until the control
head emits a beep signal. This indicates that the selected buttons are now programmed onto that memory button.
4.) Repeat Steps 1-3 to program the other two memory buttons.
5.) If the control head switch is turned off and then reactivated, this will recall the last buttons programmed. This will
occur only once. To prevent re occurrence, manually press each selected buttons once to turn them off. This will not affect
the memory buttons and functionality.
