Install the Humidifier tanks after having read the sections in the grand piano

installation instructions referred to on page 1.

STEP 1

Make sure the elbow openings are facing each other before putting them into the piano. They

were supplied to you so that when installed properly they will be facing each other.

If they are not facing each other, move the tanks so that they are. The electrical cords from the

Humidifier heater bars are normally toward the front of the piano; however, they can be toward

the rear if the Humidistat will be located toward the rear.

WARNING

Do not tighten or loosen the elbows. They are sealed at the factory to make sure they do not

leak. Tightening or loosening will destroy this seal.

STEP 2

Make sure the bottom of the tanks are the same height. If they are not, they will not function

properly; i.e. the water will not move properly between tanks.

The sketches below show incorrect

and correct orientations.

Incorrect - one tank empties
into the other. Lower tank is
overfilled. Upper tank is
underfilled.

Incorrect - water does not
get from one tank to another.

Incorrect - Can look un-
sightly hanging down.

Correct - water flows well
between the 2 tanks. The
tube presumably is attached
to a beam and travels level
between the 2 tanks.
