Troubleshooting

F0155 - Driving Range Significantly Reduced. Please charge battery to 100%

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

VCU has detected that the state of

charge (SOC) reported by the

BMS is implausibly high.

1) Temporary BMS error.

1) Recharge ESS to 100% SOC.

The VCU compares the SOC reported by the BMS to

the cell voltage. If the reported SOC is implausibly

high based on the cell voltage, the VCU will raise

error F0155.

Note:

If requested during this procedure to

connect the vehicle to a charger, a level 2

charger is required.

Note:

For best ESS performance and

vehicle range HV batteries must regularly be

changed to 100% SOC. Vehicle SOC is a

calculated valued that drifts over time. It is

recalibrated only at the end of the charge

cycle when HV batteries are charged to

100%. Always fully change the vehicle until

the charge cycle automatically ends. Only

charge vehicle using a level 2 or level 3

EVSE.

Note:

Make sure HV systems are not in use

while charging.
