F0016 - High Voltage system fault, Vehicle set to neutral
Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
The VCU has lost communication
with the BMS.
1) Defective MPDM relay K1.
2) Defective MPDM relay K6.
3) Defective relay K007.
4) Loss of continuity due to
defective LV connector or
harness.
5) Cut loop broken or faulty cut
loop wiring.
6) CAN communication problem.
7) Shutdown requested by
powertrain safety system.
8) Loss of power to MPDM or
MPDM internal failure.
9) VCU internal failure.
1) Replace MPDM relay K1.
2) Replace MPDM relay K6.
3) Replace relay K007.
4) Repair or replace LV
connector or harness.
5) Repair or replace cut loop
wiring.
6) Resolve CAN communication
problem.
7) Troubleshoot specific error.
8) Troubleshoot specific error.
9) Replace VCU.
