Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
OBC has detected a problem with
the EVSE supply or the EVSE
connection to the charge inlet.
1) OBC software update needed.
2) Charge controller fault.
3) Incompatible or defective
EVSE.
4) Loss of continuity due to
defective LV connector or
harness.
5) CAN communication problem.
6) OBC internal error.
1) Update OBC software.
2) Troubleshoot specific error.
3) Restart charge with compatible
EVSE.
4) Replace LV connector or
harness per Service Manual.
5) Resolve CAN communication
problem.
6) Replace OBC.
Note:
This troubleshooting tree covers the
following OBC fault codes: 0x3408, 0x3409,
0x340A, 0x340E, 0x340F, 0x3725, 0x3727,
0x3728, and 0x3729.
Caution:
Make sure the vehicle is in driving
mode when performing any update to the
OBC software.
