Power Steering no contact
Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
The VCU has not received any
CAN message from the EHPS
motor controller within a specified
time interval.
1) Blown 24V fuse F10.
2) Blown 12V fuse F13.
3) Loss of continuity caused by
defective LV connector or
harness.
4) Defective relay K015.
5) CAN communication problem.
6) EHPS motor controller internal
failure.
1) Replace 24V fuse F10.
2) Replace 12V fuse F13.
3) Replace LV connector or
harness per Service Manual.
4) Replace relay K015.
5) Resolve CAN communication
problem.
6) Replace EHPS motor
controller.
No Contact fault messages appear on the HMI
display and remain while the fault is active.
Historical No Contact fault messages can be found
in the HMI logs by selecting the MC43[2]log.
