F0026 (Fault Reason 25, 26, 27)
Error Description
Possible Causes
Possible Solutions
BMS has detected an overcurrent
during regenerative braking.
1) Vehicle improperly towed
2) High regen braking after full
HV battery charge

2) Contact Dana
This error indicates that the BMS has detected an
overcurrent while the high voltage batteries are
being charged by regenerative braking.
Fault reasons 25, 26, and 27 are numbered in order
of increasing severity. If fault reason 25 is raised,
regenerative braking will be limited to 50% power. If
fault reason 26 or 27 is raised, regenerative braking
will be disabled.
Error may occur if the vehicle is improperly towed
while in ready mode and the powertrain not isolated
from the road (either by placing the vehicle in neutral
or by lifting the drive axle). If improperly towed the
propulsion motor acts as a generator charging the
high voltage batteries and may cause an
overcurrent.
Contact Dana if this fault code occurs.
