3.3 SL-Series load beams
Please verify the shipment for completeness and proper condition
of the items.
The SL-Series load beams are equipped and supplied with the
following rigging components:

Load beam
The SL-Series Load beams are
constructed from high-grade steel with
a dead weight of:
GSL: 29 kg (64 lb)
KSL: 21 kg (46.3 lb)
They are attached on top of the flying
frames to allow either single or dual
pickpoint operation. For this purpose,
the load beams are equipped with a
hole grid consisting of:
GSL: 33/KSL: 26...
...25 mm (1") holes.

Two 4.75 t shackles are provided to
allow direct connection to the chain
hoist motor hook or to attach the
Z5706 Hoist connector chain and/or
the Z5707 SL Aiming plate.

3.3.1 Load beam operating modes
The SL-Series load beams allow for two operating modes:
STANDARD
MODE
In standard mode, the load beam extends to
the rear. This mode is used for standard array
setup and allows for the required downtilt.
FRONT
EXTENSION
In extension mode, the load beam extends to
the front and allows for the required uptilt.
Note: The FRONT EXTENSION mode of the
GSL Load beam is not applicable for SUB
columns.
