Cleaning the sensors
The three sensors should be cleaned every 3 months, if the water is very dirty it is advised to clean the sensors more
frequently.
To maintain sensors functionality, it is important to clean the sensors regularly.
The pH sensor must be removed from the measuring chamber in order to clean it properly without damaging it. Unscrew
the four bolts holding the sensor in place. See Illustration 36 on which bolts to remove.
Illustration 36: Removal of the pH sensor for cleaning
Be careful not to damage the sensor when it is removed from the measurement chamber. Rest the sensor on a soft
surface e.g. a clean rag.
Cleaning the PAH sensor
The window can be cleaned with a few drops of acetone and a lint-free cloth or a clean paper towel.
When cleaning the window, a thin film will appear, which can be removed with a soft cloth or clean water.
Be sure not to touch the window surface with your fingers!
Do not use any aggressive cleaning solutions, putty, sandpaper or cleaning solutions that contain abrasive substances to
remove dirt.
