4.30.3.3 Bearing Sensor Cable Removal
1. Isolate compressor power as described in Section "1.8 Electrical Isolation" on page 19.
2. Remove the Service Side Cover. Refer to "4.2.3.1 Service Side Cover Removal and Installation"
3. For the Front Bearing Sensor Cable, refer to Steps 4 and 5; for the Rear Bearing Sensor Cable,
refer to Steps 6-8.
4. Remove the cable from J10 on the Backplane.
5. Remove the cable from the 9-pin connector at the Front Bearing Sensor Feedthrough.
6. Remove the cable from J9 on the Backplane.
7. Remove the cable from the 9-pin connector at the Rear Bearing Sensor Feedthrough.
8. Remove the ground wire from J11 on the Backplane.
4.30.3.4 Bearing Sensor Cable Installation
1. Ensure that all connectors are clean and free of grease and silicone gel.
2. For the Front Bearing Sensor Cable, refer to Steps 3-5; for the Rear Bearing Sensor Cable, refer
to Steps 6-9.
3. Install the 9-pin connector at the Front Bearing Sensor Feedthrough and tighten the fasteners.
4. Wipe dielectric grease liberally over the 9-pin connector to seal from moisture ingress.
