Troubleshooting
This troubleshooting guide contains solutions to problems which can be carried out by an ordinary person. The
device does not contain user-serviceable parts. Unauthorized modifications to the device will render the
warranty void. Such modifications may result in injuries and material damage. Refer servicing to instructed or
skilled persons. Contact your Highlite International dealer in case the solution is not described in the table.

The volume is set to minimum

Increase the volume

Install the supplied Wi-Fi antenna and
put it in a vertical position

Check if the network works on another

Check if a DHCP server is available

Check if the static IP address is

Check if your firewall does not block

The router limits access to MAC
addresses

Check the MAC address (Wi-Fi MAC or
LAN MAC in Network Information on
page 48) and add it to the allowed
equipment list of your router (AP)
Wi-Fi signal is too weak

Check the distance between the
device and the Wi-Fi router

Move the device closer to the router
Unsupported encryption method

Set the encryption method to WEP,
WPA or WPA2
Incorrect Wi-Fi password

Enter the correct Wi-Fi password
Some radio stations
do not work
