It will normally take about 5 minutes; do not unplug the power during this period! Upon the
termination of the upgrade process, the device will be rebooted and the
System
page will be
automatically shown in the browser application. If these steps are not happened within
reasonable time, try to press F5 in the browser to refresh it. Make sure that the version number
in the page’s header coincides with the one you have upgraded. Reopen the browser application
and start working with the newly upgraded firmware.
The
System management
area allows restoring all default values of the SPT100 configuration,
and it will finally cause the firmware reboot. Sometimes it is recommended to pass [
Restore
defaults
] right after the firmware upgrade. Fill the

confirm it before proceed
check-box. Clicking the [
Reboot
] button will cause the SPT100
firmware reboot. During this period the communication will be lost for about 30 seconds.
The
Device time
parameters group serves for specifying the internal clock of SPT100. The
NTP
Server
address is needed for time synchronization. The internal time clock can be adjusted to
reference time server using the standard NTP protocol during boot time. The internal clock is
not used in any application for viewing video, but for local recording it is important to keep
accurate time to mark files with correct creation time. Select the required
Time Zone
using the
drop-down list and press the [
Apply
] button. The time changes will take effect immediately.
