Control Solution Test Principle
The Dario Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose that reacts
with chemicals on the Dario Test Strip.
Following the same procedure you would use to check your blood, you will
apply a drop of control solution to a test strip. The glucose in the control
solution reacts with chemicals in the test strip.
The result displayed on the meter should fall within the expected range
printed on the test strip cartridge label. You only need to obtain a single result
within the expected range to verify system performance. A result outside the
range printed on the test strip cartridge label may indicate the system is not
performing correctly.
The control solution is not for use as a cleaning solution.
Chemical Composition
Dario Control Solution is an aqueous solution that contains D-glucose as the
reactive ingredient in the approximate concentration.
