The MK-II Calculator is equipped originally with a Hengstler printer.
To adapt the new Megatron MRS-2221 printer, it’s necessary:
1. Prepare the new printer
2. Make on calculator, mechanical adaptation
3. Make on calculator, electronic modifications
4. Realize the new cable
Prepare the new printer:
Make sure that Megatron DIP switches are set as follows:
(SW1-1 and SW1-2 OFF, all other ON) and (short circuit between J9-2 & J9-3)
Use printer card interface DARLAS 300-2:
Dismantle the three screws of the printer board, mount in their place the three thread extension
rods supplied and then install the interface card on the top of these three thread extension rods.
Put back on the three thread extensions rods the 3-screws that you have initially removed in order
to support the interface board on the top of Megatron printer board.
