Tunneling
This chapter contains commands for IP tunneling.
5.5.1
Opening Tunnel Interface Mode
You can create a tunnel interface and then configure the logical interface for your IP tun-
nel.
To open
Interface tunnel
mode, enter the
interface tunnel
command, then the system
prompt will be changed from SWITCH(config)# to SWITCH(config-if[tunnel#])#.

5.5.2
Checksum Feature Set
To enable a checksum feature for the tunnel, use the following command.

Enables a checksum feature.
no tunnel checksum
Disables this feature.
Make sure to configure the tunnel checksum feature before configuring the tunnel source
and destination.
Make sure to configure the tunnel checksum on both ends of the tunnel.

Tunnel Address Configuration
To specify a tunnel source address in an IPv4 portion, use the following command.

Specifies a tunnel source address.
A.B.C.D: tunnel source IPv4 addresss.

Deletes the configured address.
To specify a tunnel destination address in an IPv4 portion, use the following command.
