Instructions for Use
Registering Master's Face
The Genibo can recognize its master through image recognition after the camera
takes a picture of the face.
To recognize the master, the master’s face must be registered in the Genibo first.
Place the Genibo facing the user. Keep them apart about 1 meter.
Press ‘5’ then ‘OK’ on the remote control to start Register Master’s Face.
The Genibo will stop what it is doing, facing the person’s face.
The user must not move but look at the Genibo’s nose for about 10~15 seconds.
Once the Genibo finds the face, it will register the user’s face as Master with a few
‘clicks’.
Once Register is complete, the Genibo will play a sound that indicates Register is
complete.
Up to 10 faces can be registered. If more than 10 faces are registered, faces from
the first registered face will begin to be deleted.
[Tip] Register under bright light, not in the dark. Registering a face will take about 10 to 15
seconds.
[Tip] If the recording face is the same one which is already registered, the Genibo will whine
and rock its head, and go into the Autonomous Mode.
