Mod to DeltaT:
(Shown only on IRDX model). Fan will modulate to the
difference between return and discharge temperature to maintain the delta
temperature set point. Modulation is based on a PID algorithm that is limited
by the minimum and maximum fan speed settings.
Note: Except for the selections of Constant Speed and Mod to Comp
optional sensors are required.
Fan speed during dehumidification mode:
When the function of Fan Speed
Assist is enabled (in the factory menu, dehumidification screen) the fan speed will
be reduced (by 5 to 20%) during the dehumidification mode. The amount of
reduction is limited by the Modulation Min fan speed setting.
Fan speed in standby mode:
If the Aire-Seal Damper is enabled (in the factory
menu, fan range settings screen). Allows the fan to run at a low speed when unit is
in standby mode. The standby speed modulation is not limited by the Modulation
Min setting. This feature can be used to prevent backdraft from pressure in the
discharge duct. Aire Seal Speed range of adjustment is 10 to 50% with a default
setting of 20%.
Safeties:
Fan modulation will be forced to maximum speed due to the following
conditions: Humidifier On, Heater On, Energy Saver and Compressor On, Low
Discharge Temp alarm, High or Low Return Temp alarm, Freeze Temp alarm,
Rack Temp error (only if Fan set to modulate to Rack) or a Floor Water alarm.
On CW units, the fan will be forced to 100%, even if the maximum speed setting is
lower than 100% due to a fan overload alarm so that other fans (if any) can make
up for the one that shut-down.
Fan modulation will be forced to the minimum speed setting during a low suction
pressure alarm.
