2. Check the battery life level is sufficient (from the System menu) or connect to mains power.

Advanced shows the Main Menu and click on Retry.
4. Select Interface. The Interface selected should be ‘EasySense Range’. The Connection should
be ‘Serial port’. There will be two Bluetooth link COM port options, select the outgoing port
number and click on OK.
To check the Outgoing COM port number for the Bluetooth device

The devices and the virtual Com ports they use will be shown in a list. Identify the

Advanced unit by its serial number and note its ‘Outgoing’ Com port number.

Check the EASYSENSE software it set to the same port number.
Q 5. If I press a button on Q Advanced the LCD screen remains blank. If I do a hard reset, blue
tooth flashes once and the LCD screen goes blank again.
The power level has dropped too low. Connect to a power supply and recharge the batteries.
