Configuring the “Base Station”
•Select
[Radio]
to configure the RF transceiver operation:
•Select “Base Station” as Operating Mode
•Click the
[Apply]
button at the bottom to save.
•Click the
[Edit]
button to setup the VBS/VLAN settings.
•Select Security Profile #1 BS_Profile1 and click the
[Edit]
button.
•Change “Wireless Network Name (SSID)” to the connection SSID to use for the network.
•Change the “Network Authentication: “ to “WPA2-PSK” for highest security.
•Set the “WPA Passphrase (Network Key):” The Passphrase of WPA2-PSK must be a value with a length
between 8 to 63 characters. The use of alpha numeric (mix of letters, numbers, and symbols) is
recommended.
•Click the
[Apply]
button at the bottom to save.
•Select
[Basic Setup]
to configure the IP Address settings
Change the Device Name (if desired for a more recognizable name).
Change the “IP Address”
Note:
All the units and equipment on the network will need unique IP addresses or use a DHCP server to
assign an address). Note: When the settings are applied the IP Address will be changed. To continue configura

tion changing the PC IP Address may be needed.
•Click the
[Apply]
button at the bottom to save.
This unit is now configured as the system “Base Station”.
