Laminator Transport Assembly
This is a general procedure for removing the laminator transport assembly from
the base of the printer. This procedure is a prerequisite for many other
procedures.
Removal Procedure
1.
Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
2.
Remove the
Main Enclosure
(page 6-15).
3.
Remove the
Upper Printer Assembly
(page 6-38).
4.
Disconnect both power supply connections from the control board.
5.
Simultaneously pull back on the two latches and lift the back end of the
chassis off the base.
6.
Slide the chassis back slightly, and lift the chassis and control board out of
the base.
7.
Disconnect the cable connectors from the control board as necessary to
perform further work on the laminator.
Replacement Notes
•
Refer to the laminator wiring diagrams beginning on page 6-8.
•
Print several test cards to verify operation.
