Cleaning the laminator cartridge
The laminator cartridge can collect debris and dust during lamination and
supply loading. Clean the cartridge every 1,000 cards.

Open the laminator door by pulling the top of the door toward you.

Press the laminator cartridge eject button to remove the laminator
cartridge.

Remove the supply and take-up spools if present.

Clean the two cartridge guide shafts and the four metal guides with a
lint free cloth and ethanol.

Clean the laminator guide rails and the cartridge opening.

Replace the supply and take-up spools on the cartridge. See
“Load
laminate” on page 11
.

Replace the loaded laminator cartridge in the laminator until it clicks
into position.

Close the laminator door.
Laminator fan filter
The laminator fan filter is designed to
keep airborne particles from entering
the unit. Clean the filter regularly and
replace it when the foam begins to
deteriorate.

Remove the filter from the back
of the laminator by pulling the
filter cover off.

Clean the filter carefully using a
vacuum cleaner. Hold the foam
filter in place to prevent it from
being drawn into the vacuum.
3
Reinstall the filter.
