5.14.1.1. Simple picture recording by field function

picture can be taken using a field function. The field function is named “Take a picture with the cam-
era” (red marker in

).

The field function provides the name of the image created. Storing this image name inside a data
record enables you to link the data record to the image just taken.
The image name may be stored within a global variable and / or in a data record field. The data rec-
ord field will have to accommodate 39 alphanumerical characters (see

Using this schema to create image file names results in every picture taken having a unique name.
In addition to taking pictures you may show a text message on the display when the device has just
acquired the image. The duration for showing the text message may be set explicitly (see green box
in
Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden werden.
).
