Decoding

You can configure the Falcon’s decoding options by tapping on

Start > Settings

> Control Panel > Decoding

. Decoder configuration can also be accomplished for

large numbers of terminals using

FMU

(Falcon Management Utility).

There are two sections in the

Decoding

control panel, each containing addi-

tional pages. There are six General Configuration pages and multiple Bar
Code symbology pages.

Configuration Control Panels

Select the desired configuration from the following options shown in

Figure 2-

, and the other

Decoding Properties

figures on the following pages.

Use the pull-down menus or tap the left and right arrow keys to navigate the
different pages of the

Configure

utility.
