INTRODUCTION
The Magellan™
1500i Scanner is designed for small counter retail checkout environments
where there is a relatively high number of transactions with a fairly small number of items
per transaction. The scanner has a reduced footprint, allowing more room for item mer

The Magellan 1500i uses intelligent illumination technology to optimize light levels for a
variety of barcode scanner functions including automatic reading of barcodes from printed
surfaces, mobile devices and image capture in variable contrast environments.
