Magellan™ 800i Scanner
ERI Timeout
Specifies the amount of time the External Read Indicator (ERI) signal is held
active for a good read.
Sets the ERI timeout duration using hex values from 000 to 255 in increments of ten milliseconds (10ms or 0.01 sec-
onds). To configure this feature, scan the “Enter/Exit Programming Mode’ bar code above to place the unit in Program-
ming Mode, then the “Set ERI Timeout,” followed by the two digits (zero padded) from the Alphanumeric table in
representing the desired time value. Exit programming mode by scanning the
“Enter/Exit Programming Mode’ bar code again.
DEFAULT SETTING FOR THIS FEATURE: 20 milliseconds (02)
