Code 39 Check Character Calculation
Enables/disables calculation and verification of an optional Code 39 check character. When
disabled, any check character in label is treated as a data character.
NOTE
If check calculation is disabled, the risk is increased that a misread can
occur.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the ENTER/EXIT Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan either the enable or disable barcode below. You’ll need to cover any unused barcodes
on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the barcode you intend to
scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the ENTER/EXIT Programming
Mode bar code.
