MSI Number of Check Characters
Specifies number of MSI check characters to be calculated and verified.
NOTE
Check characters are always modulus 10.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the ENTER/EXIT Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan the barcode below representing the desired number of MSI check characters to be
calculated and verified. You’ll need to cover any unused barcodes on this and the facing
page to ensure that the scanner reads only the barcode you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the ENTER/EXIT Programming
Mode bar code.
