(description and tare)
Selection of additional text (i.e.: ingredients, etc.)
When starting programming the additional descriptive text for a PLU (such as: ingredients, etc.),
the first line of the scale display will represent the text already stored. If a new PLU is being set,
the first line will obviously result blank.

Press

to pass from the pre-set input mode to overwriting mode. The abbreviation
INS
on the
scale display shall be replaced by

. Use the digital keys and the keys assigned to symbols and
letters for typing the text “

” ( 350 characters long as a maximum).

Selection of PLU description
Press the key
<ENTER>
to proceed with typing the PLU description. This is the text that shall be
shown by the display each time the PLU product is recalled (with the receipt totals printed aside, if
the option is enabled):

The displayed text is programmed by the same programming procedure as the PLU text previously
described. Use the key
<CENT MESS>
to centre the text.
Assignment of pre-set tare
By pressing
<ENTER>
programming enters the assignment of a pre-set tare, which is to be used for
printing pre-pack labels only (see progr. functions
04 MANUAL TARE
and
05 WEIGHED TARE
).

By using the numeric keypad keys enter the tare identification code to be assigned to the PLU and
then confirm by pressing
