Dip Switch settings to work with Windows & MAC Operation system
The DAC200 uses dip switches 4 and 5 to control the clocking frequency when it
is converting video, if the dip switches are not configured for your operating
system or type of device, a loss in video can occur. Please refer to dip switch
chart below and make sure that your DAC200 is setup correctly.
SMART DV
is a patent pending feature that allows monitoring of the video during
a DV to DV capture.
Enabling SMART DV makes the converter transparent to an NLE system, while
still transcoding the live DV stream into analogue video. This enables users to
monitor a live digital video feed from a DV camcorder or DV deck during capture,
without any conflict. It means a huge saving of time for all video editors working
with DV tape.
