7.10. The number of averaged measurements
(08. menu item)
Function
The instrument performs cca. 12 measurements in each
seconds.
The displayed measurement result is generated as the
average of several measurements.
Here you can define the number of measurements that
should be used for calculating the averaged numerical
value. By increasing this number the display stability
increases, but the signal settling time becomes lower.
[Default factory setting: 16]
Sequence of operations
1. Enter the menu with the supervisor code.
The way the code should be type in can be found in
Chapter
7.1. Typing the code in

2. Keep stepping by pressing the
▲
button as long as you
see this menu item:
(
Ave
raging).
3. Enter the menu item by pressing the
ENTER
button.
4. You see this
on the display. The mnemonic is
blinking it signs that it can be modify.
5. Pressing the
▲
button select the number of
measurements to be averaged for the displayed numerical
value from the followings: 32, 64, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16. [Factory
default: 16].
Note 1: When you choose 1 the displayed value equals to
tle last measured value.
Note 2: the settlig time after stabilizing the input current =
= number of averaging / 12 [seconds].
