If this is the first time you’ve connected your Wii Remote to your PC, you need to
wait a few seconds whilst Windows installs drivers specific to the Wii Remote.
This only happens the first time you connect.

If you now look at your
MY Mii MANAGER™
software, you should notice the Wii
Remote symbol in the bottom right of the screen is illuminated, indicating the
software is connected to your Wii Remote.
If you don’t see the symbol illuminated, check you’ve successfully registered the
Wii Remote through My Bluetooth Places as described above.
