The hood must be connected to a tube of diameter 120 mm. The connection to the pipe is made
with the plastic connection inside the device.
Long piping and many curves adversely affect the performance of the hood and should be avoided.
The horizontal sections should have a slight dip towards the exit.
OPENING THE HOOD
The use of spiral tubes is not recommended as the efficiency of the hood is reduced.
The hood is opened by lifting and pulling the grate slightly forward and removing it downwards. You
can also remove the cornice if you turn the two pins left and right down (that is, contrary to the arrow
shown in the picture).
Exhaust air must not be discharged into a conduit used for other purposes such as fume
extraction. Local regulations regarding ventilation and extraction must be observed.
Air recycling function.
The hood must be fitted with a carbon filter which is not included in the package, sold separately.
Ask for the right type in your shop or after-sales service center.
Insert the filter into the outlet of the hood.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Make sure that the power supply is in compliance with the tag type of the hood.
The electrical connection must be made by a licensed electrician. For installations in a
Class III overvoltage, the device should be capable of being disconnected from the power
supply. Disconnectors should therefore be installed in the fixed external wiring in
accordance with international and local regulations for indoor electrical installations. In
case of possible contact of the fixed wiring with the ceilings of the appliance the fixed
wiring must be protected.
