Cleaning and care
Allow the steam iron to cool down.
If necessary, wipe the steam iron’s exterior
with a well-wrung cloth, moistened in mild
soapy water.
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents on the soleplate, as it may become
scratched.
If the holes in the soleplate become blocked
with limescale, clean them with a wooden
toothpick. Take care not to scratch the
soleplate.
If the steam iron is to be stored for a
prolonged period, allow it to cool completely
and then empty it of water. Store the steam
iron in a safe place out of the reach of
children.
Self-cleaning function
It is recommended to use the steam iron’s
self-cleaning function after every 10 ironing
sessions.
Push the steam button (2) to the closed
position.
Fill the water reservoir with distilled water
through the ller nozzle (1) until the water
level reaches the “MAX” mark (14).
Never pour vinegar or descaling products
into the steam iron’s water reservoir!
Switch the steam iron on at the maximum
temperature setting.
When the indicator light (5) goes out, hold
the steam iron over a sink and press the
button for self-clean (11).
The water in the water reservoir will pour out
through the holes in the soleplate, rinsing
out any impurities.
Repeat the process if necessary.
Make sure that the soleplate (12) is
completely dry and cool before putting the
steam iron away.
