Commissioning Procedure
»
Connect the power cable to the transmitter via an external disconnect device.
Grounding is required.
»
Connect the heater to the gas pipeline. Open the gas valve in front of the absorber
and check the tightness of the gas pipeline and the threaded connections of the
emitter (after the gas valve) with a soapy solution at the rated gas pressure. Elimi-
nate gas leaks when detected.
»
Check the gas pressure in front of the heater. The gas pressure must comply with
the value specified in the paragraphs.
»
Check the operation of the boiler and the ignition electrode of the heater and
whether there is a spark.
CAUTION! Before connecting the emitter to the gas pipeline, the inner surface
of the gas pipeline must be cleaned. The gas supply valve to the emitter must
be closed while testing the strength, tightness and control pressure of the gas
pipeline, otherwise this may damage the valve block.
»
Check the gas pressure in front of the heater. The gas pressure must comply with
the value specified in the paragraphs.
»
Check the operation of the boiler and the ignition electrode of the heater and
whether there is a spark.
Attention! If the emitter does not start within 30 seconds, the gas supply to the
emitter is cut off. To restart the transmitter, you must not turn off the transmit-
ter’s power supply and turn it back on after 10 seconds at the latest. If ignition
of the gas-air mixture has not occurred after restart, the emitter should be
disconnected from the power supply and the valve in the gas pipeline upstream
of the emitter should be closed. After that, it is necessary to find and eliminate
the fault and perform a test run of the heater according to the troubleshooting
and troubleshooting section in the manual.
