: Installing the Jib Mast into the Jib Base.
•
Lower the Jib Mast until the Rotation Block (A) is resting in the Locking Slot (B) in the Jib Base. (See
Figure 4 -
A
.)
IMPORTANT:
Insert the Base Cap into the Jib Base when the Jib Mast is not in the Jib Base.

INSPECTION:
IMPORTANT:
Extreme working conditions (harsh environments, prolonged use) may require increasing the
frequency of inspections..
WARNING:
If the system has been damaged do to fall arrest, it must be immediately removed from service,
inspected, or contact Capital Safety for repair or replacement.
Before Every use
:
•
All fasteners must be tight, secure and not damaged.
•
Inspect for corrosion or rust.
•
All labels must be present and fully legible.
•
Inspect for cracks around the Jib Base.
•
Record results of inspection in the inspection and maintenance log provided.
•
If inspection reveals an unsafe or defective condition, remove Concrete Mounted Jib Base from service
and destroy, or contact Capital Safety for repair or replacement.
Monthly
:
•
A formal inspection should be done by a Competent Person
