• Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do
not bend it.

This symbol means that product must
not be used near water.

Never leave the appliance exposed to
possible splashes from water and never use
it in the bath, or in the shower and, moregenerally,
do not use it when it is in contact with water or near
a wash hand basin or any other recipient containing
water! However, if the appliance falls into water:

Unplug it immediately.

Do not place your hands in the water.

Make sure the appliance is checked by a
qualified electrician (*) before using it again.
• If the hair curler is used in the bathroom, always
unplug it when it is not in use, as the proximity
of the water could imply danger even when the
straightener is switched off.
• Always make sure that the appliance is not wet
(splashes…) and never handle it with when your
hands are wet in order to prevent electrical shock.
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains when
it is not in use or even if you leave it for a minute.
• Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use,
particularly if the appliance is unsupervised or when
assembling, disassembling and before cleaning.
