CHAPTER 2
2.1 - SAFETY DEVICES
The mechanical WING piston
must be necessarily connected to an electronic device which has electrical or electronic force control
to
guarantee safety against crushing. For settings, please consult the instructions of these devices.
We advise you to use the accessories listed in paragraph with your WING piston, as they allow you to use it in complete safety.
WARNING
Your WING electromechanical piston is frictionless, so you must use a control panel which electrically regulates the piston force.
For greater automation safety, it is necessary for the gate structure to be in accordance with the rules now in force (cambio ordi-
ne e tolgo la parola composta).
CHAPTER 3
3.1 - GATE SETTING TEST
The success of sliding gate automation involves the necessity for the gate and its mechanics to satisfy certain building and functional
requirements. If these are not respected, they can cause serious problems.
The gate wing must open manually without obstacles.
Construction of the gate:
the structure of the gate must be rigid and without curves.
3.2 - SELECTION OF AUTOMATION
When choosing an electromechanical piston, it is very important to obtain good results from the final automation system. This choice is
made keeping in mind the dimensions of the movable gate (see technical data).
3.3 - SELECTION OF THE SAFETY DEVICES
WARNING
Selection, setting up, and installation of the components and safety devices have to be made according to UNI 8612 safety
standards, or the standards of the country of installation.
The
DEA SYSTEM
provides the following devices:
• a flasher,
• photocells,
• passive sensitive frames.
All the electrical safety devices ca.n be driven by a
DEA SYSTEM
control equipment.
It is necessary to check the safety devices periodically.
WARNING
In accordance with the UNI 8612 standard, the peripheral speed of the door must always be less than 12 m/min.
3.4 - COMPONENT SETTINGS (Fig. 2)
1) Flasher
2) Key-operated manual control device
3) Safety photocells
4) Aerial for receiving remote controls
5) WING electromechanical linear piston
6) Electrics box
CHAPTER 4
4.1 - INSTALLATION
Setting up the electromechanical piston requires a series of preparatory tasks that should be carried out directly at the installation
point. The installer must have the necessary equipment so as to be autonomous during the job.
For the positioning of the connections, refer to Figures 3 and 4.
