Cleaning the nozzle
1. Dismantle the nozzle you want to clean as described in the sec-
tion “Changing the nozzle set”.
2. Clean the air cap and the nozzle with a bristle brush and solvent
or water. Use the cleaning needle (
16
) to clean any clogged
openings.
3. Clean the needles with a lint-free cloth and solvent or water.
4. Finally, check the seals of the nozzles for damage and leave all the
parts to dry thoroughly.
5. Re-fit the nozzle as described in the section “Changing the nozzle
set”.
Cleaning the motor unit
1. Before beginning with the cleaning, pull the power plug out of
the power socket.
2. Remove the motor unit (

) as described in the section “Fitting/
removing the spraying unit to/from the motor unit”.
3. Wipe the outside of the motor unit with a dry or slightly damp
cloth. Make sure that no liquid gets inside the motor.
Changing the air filter
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the fine paint sprayer could result in damage.
− The fine paint sprayer is not allowed to be used without an air
filter under any circumstances. This could draw in dirt and dust,
with a negative effect on the spraying results.
− The air filter should be checked at regular intervals for the accu-
mulation of dirt, dust and similar.
