The NV4 supports up to 16 connected analog Video Inputs via the 75Ω BNC connectors. Connect
cameras to the video inputs, starting from input 1.
Note: In a Closed IPTV application, channels can be utilised by the Analogue cameras connected
to BNC sockets on the back of the unit OR by IP cameras connected to the Closed IPTV
camera ports on the Layer3 Enhanced CCTV Switch. If an IP source is plugged into a channel
occupied by a BNC connection, the BNC will take priority and possess the channel, whilst the
IP connection will be added to an un-allocated list (refer to ‘Closed IPTV Camera Allocation’),
allowing it to be tied to an available channel through the configuration pages.
The NV4 has 16 channels that can be used for analogue input. Analogue channels can also be used
as recode channels for 3rd party IP inputs or they can also be used to remote codec NetVu Connected
capable encoders. The available inputs are;
