Electrical connection

These actions must be carried out by a qualified technician.
1 3 kW heating element - Package EG 88
1. Make a small notch in the cover and pass through the mains
electricity supply cable (not supplied).
2. Connect earth wire 2 to the earth terminal on the flange as shown
in the close-up below.
3. Make the connections to the left-hand side of the thermostat as
shown in the diagram and close-ups below.

The immersion heater can be protected by calibrated fuses
that match the power rating shown on the data plate. It is
imperative to connect metal parts to earth via the marked
terminal.
The system must include an all-pole circuit breaker or
isolating device with a minimum contact gap of 3 mm
ahead of the immersion heater.
Mains supply: 230 V - 400 V3~
