provided in this manual and other boiler literature.
The boiler and/or the system could be damaged
if the maintenance and service is not performed.
Failure to adhere to the instructions in this and other
boiler manuals could result in severe personal injury,

Inspect the interior. If necessary, clean and vacuum. WARNING -
DO NOT
USE SOLVENTS!
Clean the condensate trap and fill with fresh water.
Check for any leaks - gas, water, condensate, flue.
If used, check the system water chemistry, antifreeze concentration and
inhibitor level.
Verify that the air and flue lines are sealed tight and in good condition.
Check the expansion tank, system piping and water pressure.
Check the control settings.
Clean the ignition electrode with steel wool and reposition. Replace if
worn.
Ground wiring and ignition.
Check the wiring and connections.
Perform start-up and verify the performance beginning with the filling of
the system.
Inspect the flame. Is it stable and consistent?

Inspect the boiler gas piping and water piping.
If the flue temperature is more than 54˚F/˚C above the return water
temperature, the heat exchanger will need to be cleaned.
Inspect the front casing gaskets v replace if necessary

Inspect the temperature/pressure gauges.
Ensure the boiler front door is secure.
Inspect the vent piping.
Monthly
Inspect the air piping.
Inspect the relief valve.
Inspect the condensate system.
Inspect the automatic air vents, if used.
Test the low water cut off, if one is used.
Periodically
Every 6 months
Ensure the relief valve is operating properly.
Shut down the boiler unless it is used for domestic hot water.
End of season
Additional items if deemed necessary by the
performance or combustion:
• Clean the heat exchanger.
• Remove and clean the burner. Use compressed air only.
• Vacuum the blower.
Review:
• Review the maintenance performed with the owner.
