If the MPLC tank is connected to a central heating installation which
requires a domestic hot water sensor to be fitted, proceed as follows:
1
Remove the protection cover,
2
Slide the domestic hot water sensor fully into the sensor well by
bending back the spring tab,
3
Replace the protection cover.
5.5 Electrical connection
Warning
Only an approved technician is qualified to carry out the
electrical connections.
● A water heater equipped with a thermostat with volt-free contacts can
only be connected and will only work on an alternating-current network.
The connections must be made according to the diagrams supplied with
the appliance and according to the network voltage.
● The water heater can be protected by calibrated fuses that match the
power rating shown on the data plate. The metal parts of the water
heater must be grounded by connecting the special terminal marked
with
.
● The installation must include, upstream of the water heater, a shut-off
device or omnipolar breaking device with a minimum contact opening of
3 mm. The water heater must be connected via fixed piping.
● The load pump must be connected to 230 V - 50 Hz and must be
grounded. A reversing switch is used to switch from the summer circuit
(immersion heating only) to the winter circuit (boiler heating with load
pump on).
