Before operating, clean the inside of the freezer. (see “ Maintenance and Cleaning"). 
After  the  freezer  has  been  cleaned,  insert  the  plug  of  the  Chest  Freezer  into  the 
wall  socket.  Adjust  the  thermostat  knob  to  an  average  position.  The  green  LED 
must  light  up.  Leave  the  freezer  to  work  for  about  6  hours  without  putting  food 
inside it

.

  Freezing  of  fresh  food  will  be  acheived  after  a  minimum  of  20 hours of 

operation (when there is uninterrupted power to the unit). 

 

Note:  

If you find that the lid of the chest freezer is difficult to open just after you have closed it, 
this  is  due  to  the  pressure  difference  which  will  equalize  and  allow  for  the  lid  to  be 
opened normally after a few minutes.

The Control panel: 

This  is on the front side of the freezer depending on the model (See 

item 7 on page 7). On models without a control panel a thermostat adjustment knob is 
located on the air grille on the rear of the freezer or on the side of the freezer depending 
on the model. 

The control panel comprises of: 

1. Thermostat adjustment knob 

(A) 

– To adjust the inside temperature.  

2. Green LED 

(B) 

– Shows that the freezer is supplied with electrical energy. 

3.Orange button 

(C) – Fast Freeze  

(Depends on model) – by pushing this button, the 

orange led lights up indicating that the freezer has entered into the "Fast Freeze" mode.  

To exit the Fast Freeze mode push the button again, the orange led will go off. 

The 

LED’s give information about the mode of operation of the freezer.
