If
HVI Conductors
are installed on a building’s structure, the calculated separation distance
"s"
in the
sealing end range from the metal parts in the building’s structure must be maintained.
The sealing end range ranges from the EB connection element to the connection of the earth connec-
tion element (see Fig. 19)
.
The mechanical contact of the EB spring element (semiconductive special sheath) allows to discharge
lightning impulse voltages to a reference potential. To this end, a conductive connection to the next
equipotential bonding system (equipotential bonding level) of the installation is required.
A UNI disconnecting clamp (Part No. 459 129) can be used to connect the earth connection element of
the
HVI Conductor
to the earth-termination system.
