General Warning

 

General Safety Warning

 

 

 

• 

Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such  

 

 

as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection used for appropriate  

 

 

conditions will reduce injuries.

 

• 

Maintain tools with care. Refer to the tool maintenance instruction for detailed information on  

 

 

the proper maintenance of the tool.

 

• 

This tool is not designed to be used in an explosive atmosphere. The design of this tool will 

 

 

generate a spark and the exhaust will also cause possible danger by igniting highly    

 

 

flammable fuel or gas. Do not smoke while using or handling the tool and fuel cell.

 

• 

Inspect tool before operating to:

 

 

Determine that the tool is in proper working order.

 

 

Check for misalignment, binding of moving parts, or any other condition that may  

   affect 

tool’s 

operation.

 

• 

The fuel cell is a high-pressure liquefied gas cell. Keep it away from sparks, fire, high  

 

 

temperature and explosive environments. Do not puncture the bottle or attempt to open the  

 

 

fuel cell. Do not incinerate the empty cell. Follow the recycling instruction on the cell.

 

• 

Do not store the tool in temperature above 50˚C (120˚F). High temperature can result in an  

 

 

explosion or fire and will release flammable gas. When not in use, keep the tools away from  

 

 

any high temperature source or direct sun light.

 

• 

The tool must be used in well ventilated areas. Do not inhale the exhaust fumes or the gas as  

 

 

they are dangerous to the human body.

 

• 

Keep balanced when operating the tool. Do not overreach.

 

• 

Keep the tool, fuel, charger and battery out of reach of children. The tool is dangerous in  

  untrained 

hands.

 

• 

When the tool is not in use, place it horizontally on the floor. When the tool is placed, 

 

 

avoid the safety being squeezed.

 

• 

Always check the tool before use for broken, misconnected or worn parts.

 

• 

Do not use the tool if it has been damaged.

 

• 

Only technically skilled operators should use the tool.

 

• 

Do not discard the owner’s manual.

 

• 

Be careful when handling fasteners, especially when loading and unloading, as the fasteners  

 

 

have sharp points which could cause injury.

 

• 

Only wear gloves that provide adequate feel and safe control of triggers and 

 

 

any adjusting devices.
