Once this is selected, it presents the option to print out a topology view of the specified
SmartFabric topology. The expected VLTi connections for the 2xMX5108n Ethernet
Switches in same chassis are shown in Figure 42. This option helps to ensure that the
VLTi connections expected in the SmartFabrics are correctly cabled.

Following are the prerequisites to create a wired or daisy-chained chassis group:
•
Each chassis must be physically connected as part of the Multi-Chassis
Management (MCM) daisy-chain as shown in Figure 43. A password is not needed
as the machine to machine authentication trust is used.
•
Ensure that each member chassis is added to the group using the automatic or
manual method.
