Removing the System Board

Follow the instructions in

2.
Remove any installed card or blank from the 7-in-1 Media Card Reader slot.
3.
Remove the battery (see
Removing the Battery
).
4.
Remove the memory-module cover (see
Removing the Memory-Module Cover
).
5.
Remove the memory module(s) (see
Removing the Memory Module(s)
).
6.
Remove the keyboard (see

).
7.
Remove the palm rest assembly (see

).
8.
Remove the Bluetooth
®
card (see

).
9.
Remove the display assembly (see

).
10.
Remove the processor heat sink fan (see

11.
Remove the middle cover (see

).
12.
Remove the VGA connector board (see

).
13.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
