Prerequisites
Remove the
Procedure
1
Remove the two screws (M2x3.5) that secure the right display hinge to the I/O board.

Lift the right display hinge away from the I/O board.

Peel the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the I/O board.
4
Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
5
Slide and lift the I/O board off the palm-rest assembly.
