Power cords

The power supply requirements for blades in the DCX-4S chassis are shown in
Table 21
.
Power cords
The types of power cords provided with the PowerConnect B-DCX-4S are specific to the country
where it is installed. For each of these types of power cords (
Table 22
), the end that connects to the
PowerConnect B-DCX-4S has an IEC 60320/C19 cable connector. The AC power receptacles on
each power supply are equipped with IEC 60320/C20 power connectors.
In order to connect to a power strip already installed in a cabinet, the C20, 20A-250V, 12 AWG
power cord is required.

System power consumption
AC power consumption is configuration-specific. A system with four FC8-48
port blades (loaded with 1W SFPs), two CP8 blades, two CR4S-8 blades, and
two blower assemblies consumes 841W.
